Carsharing has arrived in Downtown St. Louis with WeCar. Enterprise
Rent-A-Car with the help of downtown partners including Citizens
for Modern Transit, the Syndicate, Loftworks, the Lawrence Group,
Pyramid-Spinnaker and the Downtown St. Louis Improvement District,
has launched WeCar, a car sharing service, in St. Louis.

"Car sharing is a great option for transit commuters - bus or
train- for work-related or personal errands during the day. We hear
all the time that I can't take MetroLink to work because I have
meetings during the day - now here is the solution. I personally
have been using the WeCAr system since its start on Feb. 12 with
great success. Going online, reserving the car of my choice, going
to the car, using my WeCar fob key to open the doors and off I go.
It is a proactive step for St. Louis, and we are happy to partner
with Enterprise to offer this option to commuters," said Thomas
Shrout, CMT executive director.
