opened to record ridership in 2001.
This summer, the line will open the
second phase to the Shiloh-Scott Station.
Since the opening of this alignment,
there has been significant development
around many of the stations in Illinois
including large numbers of new residential
units. The new development within a
half mile radius (10-minute walk) from
the St. Clair line includes more than
$441,000,000 in public and private
investment with 1,457 new residential
units added in the region. By the time
all projects are completed, it will
include more than 1,812,638 square
feet developed.
